The Tuxertal
is the westernmost of the side valleys in the upper Zillertal

The Tuxertal, which is about 15 kilometers long, is located in the west of the Zillertal. There are 5 villages here as well as the Zillertaler Höhenstraße, which is one of Austria's most beautiful Alpine roads. It impresses not only with its breathtaking panorama but also its culinary highlights thaks to the many snack stations and mountain inns. Cars, motorcycles, and buses are allowed to drive up here.
