KraftWerk as a cultural venue
The gallery in the FeuerWerk in Fügen, the most modern and efficient biomass heating and power station, offers a continual cultural program. Awaiting you here are concerts, readings, and other shows by noteworthy national and international artists in a special ambiance. Throughout the building you will discover a great passion for the natural building material of wood, which emphasizes very appealing features.
ErlebnisSennerei Mayrhofen
In this alpine dairy, you can watch the master cheese maker as he makes delicious cheeses. In addition, you can find Tyrol's first milk and cheese street here.
Zillertal local history museum
Here, you can go on a journey back in time to an age of old customs and past folk culture in the Zillertal. In one of the oldest buildings in Fügen, you can learn about the Zillertal national singers who once brought the song "Silent Night" to the world as well as old crafts, local minerals, the history of mining, and much more.
Cheese dairy with museum
We even have a cheese museum to offer, because the culinary arts in the Zillertal have always had a special cultural value. You can visit the cheese dairy museum, where there is more than just something to look at: you can also try Zillertal cheese specialties! From rustic and savory to subtle and mild - every cheese lover will be delighted.
Stiegenhaushof schnapps distillery
Here, the "myth of distilling" is explained in descriptive ways. Schnapps and liqueur lovers will be delighted by fine distillates such as "Bergheubrand" or "Echt Holz".
Schwaz silver mine
The Schwaz silver mine was the most profitable in the world in the late Middle Ages. On a tour (ca. 90 min.), you can gain interesting insight into the history of the mining era. Underground, there is a constant temperature of 12°. We recommend warm clothing and proper shoes.
Museum of Tyrolean Farms
Here you can learn more about the life and culture of the farming community of the past. Located nearby is the quirky museum cemertery, which is a humorous cemetery without the dead. With its amusing and tongue-in-cheek inscriptions and epitaphs, it is certainly worth a visit.
Swarovski Crystal Worlds
Visit the Crystal Worlds designed by André Heller. Let yourself be enchanted by glistening gems and water-spewing giants in an underground dreamscape.
Tyrolean State Museum
You can also admire the cultural diversity of Tyrol in Innsbruck. To the delight of every culture lover, the state capital offers a varied range of exhibits and attractions. Explore the Folk Art Museum, Zeughaus, Hofkirche, Kaiserjägermuseum, and Ferdinandeum. Of course, you will also find a large selection of shopping opportunities in Innsbruck.
Zillertal Arena

You can experience unforgettably stunning views on a ride on one of Austria's most beautiful alpine roads. The Zillertal mountains are literally right at your feet.
Kisslinger glassblowing shop
Various glass-making techniques are impressively demonstrated by glassblowers. Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town, will enchant you with its carefully restored, historical pedestrian zone.
Schlegeis reservoir
The Schlegeis Alpine Road leads through natural stone tunnels and past impressive waterfalls to the Stausee. Awaiting you here south of Mayrhofen is a masterful combination of technology and nature.
Krimml waterfalls
Marvel at Europe's highest waterfalls with a height of 385 m, the Aqua-Szenarium, the WasserWunderWerke, and the new waterfall center. On the way there, we recommend a detour to the Wildgerlostal. At an elevation of over 1400 m, it is the ideal destination for hikers and mountain climbers as well as nature lovers. Passing the Durlassboden reservoir, you will reach the ruggedly romantic Finkau.
Achensee
Enjoy a boat ride or bathe in the sun on Tyrol's largest lake (6.8 km²), which is also called the "Tyrolean Sea". You can treat yourself to a refreshing dip at one of the numerous swimming spots.
Nature's Ice Palace
You will discover a unique natural jewel on the Hintertux Glacier. The entrance to the ice cave is only a 3 to 4-minute walk from the summit station of Gletscherbus 3. On a guided tour of the wonderful world deep under the ski slope, you will explore an ice crevice with seemingly magical ice stalactites, huge, glistening ice crystals, frozen waterfalls, and a glacial lake.
Spannagelhöhle natural monument
You can visit Europe's highest publicly accessible cave with attached cave museum at an elevation of 2,660 m.
